it was a rainy day in the city today. if you haven't experienced san francisco rain you are really missing something! it rains from every direction...from the sky, from the ground even sideways and diagonals, needless to say you get soaked! today we hit up my old berkeley stopping grounds. since all the music accidentally got packed (opps) a stop at Amoeba music fixed that, then lunch at my favorite cafe intermezzo...yummy poppysead dressing and chicken salad! then we decided to see if we could find the old speakeasy movie theater in Oakland, and luck has it not only did we find it on the first try (not to bad for not being in the area for the last 4 years) but we also were just in time to see Sweeny Todd, lets just say the movie was interesting! it was sad coming back across the bay bridge knowing that it would probably be the last time i drive across it while it is a double decker bridge! and now, nice and dry in the hostel with my fingers crossed that the car doesn't get broken into tonight (as the girl at the front desk said, "make sure everything is out of your car, they have been known to be broken into" great!) until tomorrow when we are Yosemite bound 80)

I'm so jealous! But I'm only an hour flight away, followed by a 10minute air bart trip, followed by a 25minute bart trip, then a 15minute walk. Poppy seed dressing well worth the effort.
Love,Kris
